PATH Project- Takedown Policy

As part of our Heritage Lotery (Prejudice and Solidarity Archived Throughout History) funded project, we have created a website to host various outputs related to the history of prejudice and solidarity within the LGBT+ and ethnic minority communities in Aberdeen and shire.

This policy supersedes GREC Privacy Notice and Four Pillars Terms and Conditions

Outputs found on this website contain personal data in various forms including but not limited to newspapers articles, oral history interviews, archive materials and web articles.

We have collected, catalogued and shared these materials (and the personal data within it) based on explicit consent and using publicly available data.

If you wish to withdraw consent, you are concerned that you have found information for which you have not given permission, contravenes privacy laws, is obscene/defamatory or breaches copyright law, then please contact us with the following information:

  • Name of Project: PATH
  • Your contact details.
  • The URL where you have found the material.
  • A statement and any proof you are able to provide of your status as the rights holder or authorised representative of the rights holder.
